120 Independent Isolation Hotels Prepared by the Indonesian Government
JAKARTA - A total of 120 Independent Isolation Hotels have been prepared by the Indonesian government in collaboration with the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) to treat positive patients with Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) without symptoms who have no place to carry out independent isolation.
A number of hotels spread across the nine provinces have an occupancy capacity of 13, 334 beds, including the provinces of DKI Jakarta, East Java and Papua, which are the three regions with the largest residential capacity in the number of self-isolating hotels.
In DKI Jakarta, there are 4, 333 beds spread across 33 hotels throughout the capital. The details are Central Jakarta 14 hotels, South Jakarta five hotels, East Jakarta three hotels, West Jakarta five hotels, and North Jakarta six hotels.
East Java Province with 2, 160 beds from 16 hotels and Papua 1, 797 beds from 20 hotels. Then followed by Bali with 1, 547 beds from 12 hotels, West Java with 1, 169 beds from 12 hotels, and South Sulawesi with 1, 156 beds from eight hotels.
Meanwhile, the three hotels with the lowest occupancy capacity were South Kalimantan with 815 beds from 11 hotels, North Sumatra with 184 beds from six hotels, and finally Central Java with 173 beds from the two hotels.
